Cardinal girls’ hockey team clips Fairmont, falls to Mound Westonka White Hawks
The Luverne girls’ hockey team hosted Fairmont Nov. 21 beating the visiting Cardinals 7-1. Luverne fell to Mound Westonka-Southwest Christian 9-0 on the road Nov. 25.
Female grapplers shoot for success
The Minnesota State High School League sanctioned girls’ wrestling for the first time in the 2021-22 school year, and the first state tournament was held March 5, 2022, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
