The Luverne boys’ basketball team won three games in the past week to improve to 14-4 for the season.

LHS beat Pipestone 67-50 at home Jan. 27, took down Redwood Valley 78-56 on the road Jan. 30, and topped Blue Earth 81-72 at home Feb. 2.

LHS lost 70-59 to Pipestone at home Jan. 27, beat Canby 80-32 Jan. 29, topped Redwood Valley 66-26 Jan. 30, and took down Blue Earth 73-54 Feb. 2, at home.

Good Samaritan Society – Mary Jane Brown nursing home residents celebrated Groundhog’s Day Monday by making ‘pop-up Groundhog cupcakes with Oreos. 

Activity director Katie Petersen hosts a weekly ‘Bake and Taste’ class with residents, featuring sweet treats requested by residents.
