affidavit of candidacy for council members
CITY OF HILLS, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the filing for Council Members will open on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and shall close on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. File at the Hills City Clerk's Office, 301 South Main Avenue. Call 962-3290 for more information.
The following criteria must be met for the Council seats. The candidate
-Must be an eligible voter
-Have no other affidavit on file as a candidate for any office at the general elec-
tion
-Is, or will be on assuming office, 21 years of age or older
-Will have maintained residence in the City of Hills for 30 days before the elec-
tion
-Must pay a $2.00 filing fee at the time of filing
The offices to be elected for which filings are open are as follows:
Council members - 2 (four-year terms)
