AU releases Fall 2025 semester dean’s list
Several area students were named to the Fall 2025 semester dean’s list at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.
The Lady Pates collected three more conference wins in basketball action this past week upping their record to 17-3 for the season.

Alverna Madison, age 86, of Wilmont, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, at the Sibley Special Care in Sibley, Iowa.
The Luverne High School wrestling team fell four times in four duals giving up several forfeits in each competition over the past week.
The Cardinals fell 45-15 to Worthington and 60-11 to Pipestone Thursday, Jan. 29, in the Pipestone Triangular on the road.
Ronald Leroy Boyenga, age 85, of rural Ellsworth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side, on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026.
