The Cardinals played tough against Pipestone at home Tuesday, April 21, falling 4-3 to the Trojans.
The Cardinals lost 7-0 to Worthington on the road Friday, April 24, giving up three matches by forfeits.
LHS will travel to Blue Earth Tuesday, May 5, and to Vermillion Thursday, May 7, before hosting Fairmont Tuesday, May 12.

The Luverne High School softball team lost two games in a double-header to Jackson Thursday, April 23, on the road.
Non-productive batting and errors hurt the Cardinals in Jackson where LHS fell 6-4 in the first game and lost 9-1 in the second game to the Huskies.

The Luverne High School trap shooting team recorded its first week of competition scores at the Luverne Sportsmen’s Club Monday, April 20.
“We’ve been dealing with some very cold and windy weather,” team assistant Julie Wynia said.
