The Luverne girls’ hockey team went 2-1 on the road this past week.
The Cardinals fell 1-0 to Albert Lea Tuesday, Jan. 14, and beat Waseca 5-1 Saturday, Jan. 18, and Minnesota River 5-2 Monday, Jan. 20.
LHS improved their season record to 13-6-2. They still trail Minnesota River and Marshall in the Big South Conference.

The Luverne gymnasts hosted Windom Tuesday, Jan. 14, beating the Eagles 130.600 to 113.850 in the Classic Gym.
As a team, Luverne took top honors in all four events.
LHS topped Windom 35.150 to 32.950 on the vault, 29.925 to 25.400 on the bars, 30.600 to 26.825 on the beam, and 34.925 to 28.675 on the floor routine.
