Four additional pickleball courts were added to the area recently with two new courts constructed in Hills, one painted on the basketball court at the elementary school in Beaver Creek and an additional court painted on the former basketball court in Hardwick. The Luverne Redbirds beat Worthington 8-1 on the road Wednesday, June 12, got by Windom 4-1 on the road Friday, June 14, and blanked Pipestone 12-0 at home on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, to improve their season record to 9-1. On Wednesday, June 12, Brady Bork got his first hole-in-one at the Luverne Country Club on hole No. 3. Bork used a seven iron from 170 yards to the hole for the ace. “After seeing a lot of my shots get close over the years, it didn’t seem real that one finally went in,” Bork said. His dad, Randy Bork, witnessed the shot and video-recorded retrieving the ball from the cup.
