    The Luverne football team beat Tri-City United Tuesday, Oct. 24, by a score of 6-2 at home in a Section 3AAA quarterfinal game. Luverne then traveled to Fairmont and lost 32-0 to the rival Cardinals Saturday, Oct. 28.
