LHS senior Owen Sudenga qualified for the 2024 MSHL boys’ individual state golf tournament Wednesday, May 29.
In the second round of sections Sudenga shot a 76, finishing in seventh place at the Oakdale Golf Club in Buffalo Lake.
This year will be his second appearance in two years at the individual state tournament.

Luverne native Carly Olson was named to the 2024 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) All-Conference team.
Olson, in her freshman year at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, batted in the No. 5 spot all season, started in all 42 of the Gusties’ games between catcher and third base.
