Cardinals and Patriots finish strong at Trojan Relays

The Cardinals and Patriots track and field teams had a strong showing at the Worthington Trojan Relays Tuesday, May 13.

In Class AA competition the Luverne girls’ team placed third and the boys’ team finished in fifth place.

Cardinal boys place seventh in Big South Conference golf meet

The LHS boys’ golf team finished in seventh place out of 14 teams at the Big South Conference Championship at Dakota Ridge Golf Club in Morton Tuesday, May 13.

Sophomore Will Bergman and freshman Mallachi Domagala both earned All-Conference honors at the meet.

Patriots boys’ and girls’ golf teams compete in Red Rock Conference tournament May 13

The H-BC boys’ golf team finished in fifth place out of eight teams at the Red Rock Conference meet at Great Life Golf and Fitness in Worthington Tuesday, May 13.

The Patriot girls’ team was unable to post a team score with only two players on their team.

LHS baseball team wins two games, raises season record to 16-3

Luverne baseball wins two games and raises their season record to 16-3 this past week.

With ten wins in a row, LHS sits atop of the Big South Conference with a 12-0 conference record.

Elise Jarchow earned the Eagle Award for athletic and academic accomplishments.

Luverne alumni Elise Jarchow earned the University of Northwestern 2025 Eagle Award.

The Eagle Award is an annual honor given to a standout male and female student-athlete, voted on by the athletic department’s coaching and administrative staff.

Patriots track and field teams capture Red Rock Conference championships

The Hills-Beaver Creek track and field team captured Red Rock Conference meet honors Thursday, May 15, in Slayton.

This is the second year in a row that the Patriots boys’ and girls’ teams won the conference meet team championships.

There seems to be a new sheriff in town when it comes to operating a boat or personal watercraft in Minnesota waters.
