•The gravel pit pond in Luverne has become known as the Creamery Pond, due to its proximity to the former Land “O Lakes creamery.

Celebration of life 

There will be a celebration of life for Randy Cragoe from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Take 16 Brewing, 509 E. Main Street, Luverne.

Country fried chicken, cream gravy, mashed potatoes, green peas, wheat bread and sugar cookie. 

Tuesday, March 31: Beef stew, sliced carrots, biscuit and apple dump cake. 

Jeff Wollman, age 65, of Luverne, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center. 

Sandra “Sandi” Bird, age 79, of Kenneth, Minnesota, died on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. 

Linda Elaine Marr, age 78, of Magnolia, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
