Luverne will host the 74th Tri-State Band Festival Saturday, Sept. 27, with 16 bands participating in the parade and field events.
Parade competition begins at 9:30 a.m. on Main Street with 12 marching bands performing on the parade route.

A final radio call will be made for retiring Rock County Sheriff Evan Verbrugge on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
