H-BC grads wear red cords to honor former classmate

Two Hills-Beaver Creek High School seniors will be wearing red cords at Friday’s graduation ceremony in honor of their gift of blood. Sawyer Bosch and Blake Leenderts earned the red cords from the Community Blood Bank in Sioux Falls for their three blood donations over the past three years. To the Editor, Because of our wonderful Rock County community, the American Red Cross blood drive was a huge success on Jan. 20. So many folks braved the cold and came to Grace Lutheran Church to help change people’s lives, and as a result 162 was the potential number of lives saved across the country.
