    The Luverne Cardinals softball team took two games from Redwood Valley and fell twice to Jackson in doubleheader play. LHS beat Redwood 20-10 and 13-3 April 22 in Luverne and fell to Jackson 12-1 and 9-2 April 25 in Jackson.     Luverne hosted Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Tuesday, April 22, in 9-hole play at the Luverne Country Club. The LHS boys’ team beat the Knights 169-212, and the girls fell by four strokes 220-224.
