    The Cardinal girls’ hockey team competed in their first round of post-season play Saturday when they hosted Windom in the Blue Mound Ice Arena.     The Luverne gymnastics team leapt over two conference opponents last week. The Cardinals beat Fairmont 131.200 to 128.775 in Fairmont Tuesday, Jan. 31, then hosted St. James Thursday, Feb. 2, dominating the meet 134.850 to 99.625.
