The Luverne Cardinals football team took the wind out of Blue Earth’s sails on Aug. 28, beating the Buccaneers 40-6 at home.

The Luverne girls’ volleyball team opened the 2025 season with a loss in Edgerton and a third-place tournament finish in Rochester in the past week.
LHS has a 4-2 record for the season with three games set for the next week.

The Luverne girls’ tennis team improved their season record to 5-1, beating Redwood Valley and River Valley in home meets this past week.
LHS blanked Redwood Valley with a 7-0 team win on Tuesday, Aug. 26, and outplayed River Valley 5-2 Wednesday, Aug. 27.
