Residents and businesses have a choice for local Internet access. Both the school district and Rural Connections are selling it, but people are slow in signing up for the new technology.
Preliminary figures for open enrollment show a shift of students in at least two districts in the county.The biggest growth is in Luverne, which has a total enrollment of about 1,480 and 123 open-enrolled students.
