At their April 11 meeting, the H-BC Board agreed to offer kindergarten three days a week all day."25 years ago (1979)"The Beaver Creek Area Jaycee Chapter received The Most Outstanding Individual Development Project award at the South Region Spring Caucus at St. James last week. The chapter received the award for its Spiritual Development program chaired by Ron Rauk. The program was a regular get-together of members and their wives and a time of fellowship and refreshment following church services on Sunday morning."50 years ago (1954)"The Fikse Produce Co. is keeping up with the times in pretty fine shape, as again they step out to modernize their business by the installation of an egg candling machine. He has already turned out a number of grists, giving the best of satisfaction. Farmers can now have their feed ground in short order as good as it can be done anywhere in the west."
