Allan Eugene Meinerts was born the youngest of nine children, on August 12, 1948, to John and Freida (Bruns) Meinerts at the Luverne Community Hospital in Luverne, Minnesota.
Judith Diane Fenske was born on July 2, 1944, to Peter and Hazel (Horning) Kuyper in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She grew up in Blue Earth, Minnesota, where she graduated with the class of 1962.
Amber Briggs, age 34, of Luverne, Minnesota, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at her home. A memorial service was Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 7 p.m., with visitation at 6 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Luverne.

Luverne High School juniors and seniors enjoy their Saturday night prom, whose theme was "Ballroom Brilliance," with a grand march featuring 105 couples who walked through thehigh school gym and across the stage of the performing arts center.
Under the theme, “A Night on Mount Olympus,” 35 couples participated in the grand march at the Hills-Beaver Creek High School prom in Hills Friday night.
