If a Luverne property’s service line material is lead or galvanized, homeowners will receive a letter from the city. If the service line is unknown, the city will continue to investigate, and they will also receive a letter.
About 850 Rock County Rural Water customers received letters in October alerting them about the possibility of copper in their drinking water.
