The scheduled demolition of the twin Jasper elevators shook homes and broke windows in nearby neighborhoods in town Wednesday, May 20. 

The explosion was heard as far away as Worthington and Sioux Falls, with reports of the loud boom and ground shaking up to 60 miles away.
