To the Editor:
What’s this I hear… about the Main Street Music Group moving into the Historical Carnegie building!!!
I understand this would require handicap accessibility, which would mean an elevator and bathrooms upstairs. How would you put seven soundproof rooms and those two very expensive items in that historic building without destroying the beautiful woodwork and windows, and where would the money come from?
Maybe they should buy the Masonic Building instead when the Historical Society moves out as all the updates could be done on the inside without destroying the outside look of it or the Carnegie.
There is a very nice tribute to local veterans on display now at the Carnegie and there have been many interesting and enjoyable displays in the past.
