H-BC captures Red Rock Conference track team championships

The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ and girls’ track and field teams were crowned the Red Rock Conference champions Thursday, May 16, in Mountain Lake.

The boys’ team took first place in the conference with a score of 156.6, and the girls’ team finished first with a score of 147.5.

LHS girls’ track team crowned True Team State Champions

The Luverne girls’ track and field team was crowned the Class A True Team State Champion Saturday, May 18, in Stillwater.

The LHS boys’ team finished in fifth place in the True Team competition.

LHS and H-BC Week 5 trap results

The Luverne High School trap team finished their fifth week of competition at the Rock County Sportsman’s Club.

Senior Cash Bonnett and junior Liam Murphy led the team with 45 clay targets shot in two rounds. Sophomore Nicholas Mann followed with a round of 44.

Patriots boys’ golf team finishes fifth in Red Rock Conference tournament

The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ golf team finished the Red Rock Conference tournament taking fifth place in the team event Tuesday, May 14, in Worthington.

In four 18-hole matches, H-BC shot a total team score of 1557.

Cardinal golf teams have good showing at RTR Invitational

The Luverne golf team participated in the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Invitational Friday, May 17.

The boys’ team finished in second place out of six teams, and the girls’ team finished fourth out of five teams.
