It was just after the Big Chill a few weeks ago that Melvin appeared by our back door.

The local Kwik Trip should be opening soon and is highly anticipated by many of the locals.

Christina Wagner and Elizabeth Wagner, Luverne, were named to the Fall 2023 high honors dean’s list at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.

The following article is part of the Diamond Club Member group that began in the January 7, 1943, issue of the Rock County Star Herald. Members of this group consist of persons of age 75 and older.

Gloria June Juhl was born July 5, 1935, to George and Anna (Boldt) Albers in Luverne, Minnesota. In 1942 she moved with her parents to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where her parents both worked in defense plants during the World War II. In 1945 they returned to Luverne.

Harold Vogt, age 92, of Luverne, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
