The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:14 p.m. in the H-BC Secondary School Board room, 301 N Summit Ave, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Fransman, Gehrke, Harnack, Knobloch, Rauk and Rozeboom. Superintendent Holthaus, Principal 
Kellenberger and Business Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance.
Motion by Rozeboom, second by Bosch, and carried to approve the
agenda. Proposed Change: 6.13
Visitor to the meeting was Mavis Fodness of the Star Herald.

Motion by Fransman, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve Consent Agenda:

-Contract with Jeff Gould-Back to School Speaker for Staff.

-Hiring Isabel Sylvanie as K-12 Art Teacher for the 2022-2023 School Year.
-Shelly Fischer’s request to be reduced to 90% FTE for the 2022-2023 
school year.
-Hiring Allesia Kolles as full time vocal music teacher for the 2022-2023 
school year. Also assigned to Elementary Music Performance and Secondary Choir.
Motion by Harnack, second by Rauk, and carried to approve Revenue
and Expenses Fiscal Year 2023 Budget.
Motion by Fransman, second by Knobloch, and carried to approve MN State High School Membership Resolution for the 2022-2023 School Year.
Motion by Harnack, second by Bosch, and carried to approve Resolution Establishing Dates for Filing Affidavits of Candidacy for 2022 Election.

Motion by Rozeboom, second by Harnack, and carried to approve

MOVE TO CLOSED SESSION
Motion by Bosch, second by Rozeboom, and carried to approve moving to close meeting as permitted by MN STatutes, section 13D.05, subdivision 3 (a) to evaluate the performance of Todd Holthaus, District Superintendent.
RECONVENE FROM CLOSED SESSION
Meeting adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
