H-BC girls grace RRC roster

Brittney Rozeboom (left) drew honorable mention.By John RittenhouseThree Hills-Beaver Creek High School athletes were honored when the 2003-04 All-Red Rock Conference Girls’ Basketball Team was announced last week.Two Patriots cracked the 21-player All-RRC roster. One H-BC girl received honorable mention.Senior Erin Boeve and junior Cassi Tilstra locked up roster spots in the All-RRC team.Junior Brittney Rozeboom is one of 11 players to draw honorable mention.League champion Fulda led all teams by landing four All-RRC selections. Seniors Susan Grandgeorge and Elizabeth Kramer, junior Abby Oakland and freshman Kaitlyn Kramer are the Raiders on the roster.Murray County Central and Adrian placed three players each on the all-conference team. Seniors Cara Counter and Krista Beek and sophomore Rachel Christiansen made the squad for MCC. Seniors Kylie Heronimus, Andrea Lonneman and Maria Gengler graced the squad for Adrian.Red Rock Central, Southwest Star Concept and Mountain Lake-Butterfield-Odin received two all-conference selections each.RRC seniors Andrea Kircher and Brittni Nickel, SSC junior Kirsten DeWall and sophomore Whitney Place and ML-B-O seniors Mikkala Junker and Stacie Dirks made the team.Southwest Christian sophomore Rebecca Schelhaas, Comfrey senior Jessie Goblirsch and Edgerton freshman Amy Kallemeyn round out the all-conference roster.Other players drawing honorable mention include Adrian senior Ashley Cox, Fulda freshman Laura Kramer, RRC seniors Blair Meyer and Julia Grams, SWC senior Ashley Zeinstra and junior Megan Boeve, SSC junior Alexa Rasche, Comfrey senior Crystal Wall and sophomore Allison Kelly, Westbrook-Walnut Grove senior Jenny Heinrich, Edgerton senior Megan Butson and Sioux Valley-Round Lake-Brewster sophomore Molly Eichenberger.
