I could not believe what I read in the Star Herald last week. Do we have another city government cliqué that lacks the intestinal fortitude to go against a very few persons that are opposed to the Dingmann Fledgling Field project? The majority of citizens want Mr. Dingmann to have his permit.I am reluctant to attend another public meeting and expressing my opinion. I really don’t appreciate being yelled at by a woman from her car as we were both leaving the last Planning & Zoning meeting, that she wanted the funeral home in my backyard. Just for her information, I live directly across the street from the Hospice House. It is a beautiful place inside and out and the landscaping is great. It would be the same with the funeral home, But it is a sad place also. However, I have never wished that it was located anywhere else. You owe Mr. Dingmann a special City Council meeting and giving him his permit. No more tabling!Margaret SannyLuverne
