The 2003 Luverne Marching Band’s season of competition is over. What a great year the kids had. Too bad the Star Herald missed the boat again. Aside from the Tri-State Band Festival there was little or no coverage. Why not? The Luverne High School band, flag corps and instructors work very, very hard. They had an exceptional season and should have a little recognition for their efforts. Would have been nice for the kids to see or read about their success in the local paper.
