December 24, 2024William “Bill” Henry Holling was born on March 25, 1923, in Germany to Ferdinand “Peter” and Wiebke (Jollmer) Holling. His parents immigrated to the United States when Bill was about 1 1/2 years old. His parents were farmers and settled on a farm near Hardwick, Minnesota, for about nine years.
