    Thirty-five athletes participated in the 9th Annual Davis Lake Triathlon July 4 at The Lake, aka The Creamery Pond in Luverne. Competition began at 8:30 a.m. with the Minnow Race.     The ninth annual Davis Lake Triathlon once again kicked off the Fourth of July activities at The Lake Thursday. The triathlon has two divisions, the Minnows and the Sharks. The Minnows race is a quarter mile kayak, two-mile bike ride and one-mile run. The Sharks race is a half mile kayak, eight-mile bike ride and 2-1/2-mile run.
