The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m. - at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Gehrke, Harnack, Helgeson,
Rauk, Rozeboom and Uittenbogaard. Superintendent Holthaus and Business
Manager Rozeboom were also in attendance. Principal Kellenberger and Board
member Bosch were absent.
Motion by Harnack, seconded by Helgeson, and carried to approve the agenda.
Proposed Addition 7.4.
Visitors to the meeting were Nicole Ronchetti with the Rock County Star Herald, Mr. Crosby and Mr. Engelkes.

Motion by Helgeson, seconded by Rozeboom, and carried to approve consent agenda:
•Board Meeting Minutes from 04/27/2026
•Bills
•Construction Draw #25
•Hiring April Prohl as lead infant teacher for Patriot Pals Childcare Center
Motion by Rauk, seconded by Uittenbogaard, and carried to approve hiring the MN
School Board Association to facilitate the creation of the Hills-Beaver Creek School
District Strategic Plan.
Motion by Harnack, seconded by Rauk, to deny the Wrestling Proposal.
Motion by Rozeboom, seconded by Uittenbogaard, and carried to approve Donation
Resolution:
•$2,450.00 from Anonymous for H-BC Elementary School and Secondary
School
•$500.00 from HUB for the Letter Club
•$20.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Elementary Student Council
•$20.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Secondary Student Council
