The Hills-Beaver Creek School Board met for its semi-monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. - at the Secondary School District Board Room, 301 N. Summit Avenue, Hills, MN.
Board members and Administration present were Bosch, Gehrke, Harnack,
Helgeson, Rauk, Rozeboom and Uittenbogaard. Superintendent Holthaus and
Principal Kellenberger were also in attendance. Business Manager Rozeboom was
absent.
Motion by Helgeson, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve the agenda.
Visitor to the meeting was Lori Sorensen with the Rock County Star Herald.

•Build/Grounds 3/10, Personnel/Finance 3/16
Motion by Bosch, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve consent agenda:
•Board Meeting Minutes from 03/09/2026
•Bills
•Student Activity Accounts Report - 2/28/2026
•Treasurer Report - 2/28/2026
•Additional four hours of year round custodian time beginning with the
remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year.
•Assign Pete Gehrke as regular route bus driver for the school year
•Assign Pete Gehrke as part time custodian/building and grounds
maintenance during the school year
•Assign Pete Gehrke to full time custodian/building and grounds maintenance
over the summer time when school is not in session.
•Direct the superintendent to post for a van route driver/custodian/building
and grounds maintenance and Lunch room server position.
•Hiring Kennedi Wright as Special Needs Teacher beginning with the
2026-2027 school year.
Motion by Uittenbogaard, seconded by Bosch, and carried to approve Donation
Resolution:
•$16,000.00 from the Frank Boon Trust for Lego Robotics for the WAFFLE
competition.
•$5,000.00 from Anonymous for Elementary School enrichment for indoor
play and activities
$2,000.00 from the Scholten Family in Honor of Starla Scholten
$50.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Elementary Student Council
$50.00 from Blackbaud Giving Fund to Secondary Student Council

Motion by Bosch, seconded by Harnack, and carried to approve adjournment of the meeting.
