SUMMARY PUBLICATON ORDINANCE NO. 22
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF CANNABIS AND
CANNABIS DERIVED PRODUSTS IN PUBLIC PLACES
WITHIN THE CITY OF HILLS, MINNESOTA
THE CITY OF HILLS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Whereas the City of Hills wishes to be proactive in protecting public health and safety by enacting regulations that will mitigate threats presented to the public by the public use of cannabis. The City of Hills recognizes the risks that unintended access and use of cannabis products present to the health, welfare, and safety of youth and non-cannabis users within the City of Hills.
SECTIONS 1. TITLE
States the purpose of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS
States the definitions applicable to this section.
SECTION 3. JURISDICTION
States the legal boundaries.
SECTION 4. PROHIBITED ACTS
States prohibited actions of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. PENALTY
States the criminal penalty in violation of this ordinance.
SECTION 6. SEVERABILITY
Refers to the enforcement of sections and provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 7. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
