NOTICE OF ELECTION FILING PERIOD
FOR CITY OFFICES
IN THE NOVEMBER 2024 GENERAL ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Candidate Filing Period opens
July 30, 2024, and closes at 5 p.m. August 13, 2024
The following City Offices will be up for election in the
November 2024 General Election:
Mayor 2-Year Term
Council 4-Year Term
Council 4-Year Term
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
•Must be an eligible voter,
•Have no other affidavit on file as candidate for any office at the General Election,
•Is or will be 21 years of age or older, at time assuming office,
•Will have maintained residence in the City of Hardwick for
30 days prior to the election.
Affidavits of Candidacy are available in the Hardwick City Hall lobby or can be emailed upon request by contacting the Hardwick City Clerk, at 507-227-5470 or cityofhardwick@alliancecome.net.
Affidavits can be returned to the City Hall drop box located at
102 East Main, Hardwick, MN 56134 before 5:00 p.m., August 13, 2024.
There is a $2 filing fee.
