Shevi Herman

Shevi Lynn Herman, age four months, was called home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 7. She was born on January 14, 2025, to Bailey and Harley Herman in Michigan.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Hartford Chapel. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., also at Miller Funeral Home, Hartford Chapel.

Following the service, there will be a private family burial at St. Ann Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the St. Ann Parish reception hall for a luncheon after the funeral service.

Shevi was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). At just six days old, she underwent her first surgery. Later, she was also diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a severe liver condition. Shevi fought incredibly hard and inspires us all to never give up, no matter how difficult things may get. Her chubby cheeks and beautiful strawberry-blonde hair will always be remembered. Although her time with us was short, the impact she made is immeasurable.

Grateful to have shared her life are her parents, Bailey and Harley Herman; grandparents, Mark and Tammy Bauman, Joel and Kellie Herman; great-grandparents, Sheri Harner, Dorothy Bauman, Dale and LeighAnn Remme, Richard and Clarice Herman; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Larry Lukes, Larry Harner, and Orville Bauman; cousin, Jacob Gonnerman.
