Kenneth Cragoe, 90, of Borrego Springs, California, passed away July 6.

Ken was born April 8, 1934, to William Albert (Bert) and Grace Cragoe in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He attended Luverne High School and graduated in 1952.

He joined the Army and served in the Military Police unit in Austria. Ken attended Mankato State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and economics.

Mankato, Minnesota, is where he met his wife, Jean. They were married 66 years.

Ken was employed as a department manager for both Univac and Control Data, and later found his passion in real estate.

Ken and Jean moved to a retirement community, the Roadrunner Club, in 1997, where they enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and waterball in the pool.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Don, and his brothers-in-law Vernon Buus and Arvid Ebeling.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons David (Patty), Borrego Springs, California, and Mike (Cora), Deerbrook, Wisconsin; grandchildren Calli, Deerbrook Wisconsin,  and Collin, Chicago, Illinois; sisters Karen Buus (Charlie), Luverne, Minnesota, Judy Ebeling, Eagle Lake, Minnesota, Janice (Jarnet) Johansen, Hardwick, Minnesota; sister-in-law Ma Reese Cragoe, Luverne, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
