John C. Vermeer, 74, Valley Springs, South Dakota, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
John Clarence Vermeer was born on July 15, 1950.
A graveside service was held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Valley Springs on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at 10 a.m. The family invited everyone for coffee and fellowship at the Valley Springs American Legion Hall following the service.
John is survived by his wife, Mary; siblings Anna Huiskes, Mary (David) Harris, Burt (Lee Ann) Vermeer, Jane (Gene) VanderWolde, and Barb Nankivel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
