It was sure nice to attend the barn dance Saturday night. It brings back memories. I wish my dad, Lester Wieck, would have been here. He built a barn on one of his farms northeast of Magnolia many years ago. The Magnolia band needed some instruments. Dad had a barn dance in the hayloft with a band and lunch. He donated the money to buy some instruments. Everyone had a grand time.It was great to watch the square dancers Saturday night also. They went right along with the barn dance.
