Dozens of young bicyclists joined the Luverne Optimist Club for its annual Bike Rodeo Saturday morning at the Blue Mound Ice Arena in Luverne.

Larry “Bones” Lynn Lupkes, age 69, of Rushmore, died Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. 

Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Public forum in Hills draws large crowd, heated comments

A public forum during the May 12 Hills City Council meeting drew over 60 people, the majority of whom were there to express support for the city council and city clerk amid an expected lawsuit.
