The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program is accepting applications now through Oct. 1, 2026, for its program, including the 2027 Horticulture Core Course, beginning Dec. 29, 2026.

The City of Hardwick is accepting sealed bids for surplus 1981–1982 John Deere 2755 Tractor.

It was one of the first Labor Days that I can remember over the past years that was actually a rainout. Nobles County received about 3.5 inches of rain over the long weekend.  This is the first significant rain we have had in about three months.
