The Luverne volleyball team posted two home wins, beating Jackson County Central 3-1 Tuesday, Sept. 23, and topping Edgerton Public 3-1 Monday, Sept. 29.
The Cardinals are now 9-9 for the season.

The H-BC football team extended their winning streak to 5-0, beating the Granada-Huntley-East Chain-Truman (GHEC-T) Jaguars on the road Friday, Sept. 26.

For the annual event, 12 runners traverse South Dakota from its Wyoming border to its Iowa border to raise money for the South Dakota Helpline Center, a suicide crisis center.
