Bruce L. Dysthe, 81, Beaver Creek, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A celebration of life open house was from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at Spirit of Truth Lutheran Church in Brandon. The memorial service was at 11:30 a.m. followed by full military honors. A livestream link will be provided before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Bruce’s memory.
Bruce is lovingly remembered by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff (Cammie) and Jamie (Laurie); his grandchildren, Thomas, Erika, Devon, and Alex Dysthe; his sister, Shirla (Wendell) Kuhl; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce Fried, Brian (Gail) Fried, Janet Dysthe, Teruko Dysthe, and Marlin Heikes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
