The Luverne High School track and field team traveled to Brookings, South Dakota, for the SDSU Ruth Marske Invite Saturday, March 29.

The indoor meet hosted 26 high school teams from Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa.

The Patriots track and field team went on the road to start their 2025 season, participating in the Mount Marty High School Class B Invite at the Ruth Donohoe First Dakota Fieldhouse.

Forty schools participated in the indoor meet on Thursday, March 27, at Mount Marty University.

Luverne activities director Todd Oye was named the “Paul Krueger - Class A Activities Administrator of the Year” Wednesday, March 26, at the state activities banquet in St. Cloud.

Local hockey player Easton Johnson of Luverne was recently invited to play for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.
