Luverne FFA Chapter members challenged sixth-graders to compete in four Harvest Day activities Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21, in the Luverne Middle-High School small gym.
Elmer Edwin Ehde was born on January 14, 1940, to Elmer and Goldie (Sanderson) Ehde in Luverne, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Once a year in Luverne we have the citywide cleanup or “junk days.” All the residents can go through their homes and almost anything they consider junk, broken, tarnished or simply unwanted gets thrown to the curb, literally.
Santa (portrayed by Joey Streeter) visited the Hills American Legion Monday night as part of the HBCS (Helping Building Communities Stronger) committee-sponsored Appreciation Supper.
