Grace Quilters gathered Thursday morning, Jan. 23 to tie together the quilt made from scraps to be sent to Guatemala in June during a mission trip. Three of the “scrappy” quilts were sent to California to be given to residents whose homes and belongings were lost to recent wildfires. More than a dozen quilters at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne are making sure people have a warm place to sleep at night.
