A Luverne Public Schools custodian shovels a few areas Friday afternoon at the school’s tennis courts, allowing Mother Nature to penetrate through the ice layer under the estimated 6 inches of snow covering the playing surface. Rock County Engineer Mark Sehr unveiled his preliminary five-year road and bridge construction plan to commissioners March 21.
In the plan, Sehr anticipates completing two mill and overlay projects, six bridge replacements, one bridge rehabilitation and 41 miles of seal coating in 2023.
