Family of Bryan Kienholz

The family of Bryan Kienholz would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to our family, co-workers, church family and friends who offered condolences, encouragement and an outpouring of love following the sudden passing of our beloved dad, husband, grandfather and son-in-law. From food deliveries, visits, cards, flowers, memorials, hugs, phone calls and texts, your acts of kindness were truly like experiencing our father’s arms and love surrounding us. A sincere thank you to Pastor Mike for your investment of time and prayers for our family, in addition to your dedication to a service that honored Bryan. Many thanks to Luverne’s emergency and medical teams, and Sanford staff, who all went above and beyond in their trained efforts and showed great compassion in our time of grief. We would like to express our special thanks to Jeff and everyone at Hartquist Funeral Home for their guidance, love, care and patience as we went through the motions and processing of our deep loss. Everyone’s support and prayers have been so appreciated by our family. We know God is carrying us through this, one day at a time.

Family of Marvin Laackmann

Marvin said he wanted to see his 90th birthday and he did - nine days later he went to be with the

Lord Jesus. Our family wants to extend our heartfelt kindness to Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Dahl for their

gentleness and compassion while taking care of our dad during his medical appointments and

his final moments of life. The ER staff, hospital nurses, and the MN West student nurses who

provided excellent care while Dad was in Sanford Hospital Hospice care.

Mr. Hartquist and the funeral staff who provided first-rate service and to Pastor Lori VonHoltum

for weaving together a warm and touching Celebration of Life message.

And to the Tuff Nursing Home who said Dad told them thank you everytime and we say thank

you for taking care of Dad; and to the community, thank you for your sharing, caring and your

support during the time of Marvin’s passing.

Gerald Winter thank you

From Gerald Winter: (the motorcycle guy) Thank you for all the kind words and encouragement for my 87th birthday. One card stood out though. It said, “Congratulations Alice, you’re 21!” Alice was penciled out and “Gerald” was written in. Behind the 21 it said, “x4+3=87. Have a nice day.” Now, I’m all in favor of saving the environment when we can, but I might be dealing here with a radical environmentalist or just an old fashioned cheapskate as there was 73 cents postage due.” ***This was not fact checked by Adam Schiff.*** Cheers!         (2.6-2.8)
