    Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Tuff Memorial Home, both in Hills, teamed up to provide an afternoon of trick-or-treating fun at the two locations Sunday. For two hours more than a dozen businesses and organizations handed out candy and other treats from car trunks outside on a windy, 65-degree day. Inside, Tuff residents handed out candy from the doorways of their rooms.

    Instead of selling his parents’ Cadillac XT5, Randy Warner of rural Lester gave the SUV to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills to be raffled. “The car was a hassle to sell,” Warner said. “I brought it to a few dealers but they won’t give much for it.     Two Hills organizations worked together to provide Halloween activities Sunday afternoon for residents and children. Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s board of education organized its first Trunk or Treat along North Main Street featuring 19 separate treat stops along each side of the street.
