Gangestad places second in state ninth-grade wrestling tournament

Luverne wrestler Matthew Gangestad, a junior, placed second in the 2024 Ninth Grade State Tournament Saturday, Feb. 3, in Champlin Park.

Gangestad and Hudson Hough qualified for the state tournament Jan. 27 at the Region 2 competition in Redwood Valley.
