Early Voting started September 20
Voting for the Nov. 5 general election began in Minnesota on Sept. 20.
To be eligible to vote, a person must be 18 or older by Election Day, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Minnesota for at least 20 days, not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction, and not under a court order that revokes your right to vote. READ MORE > >
School Board Candidates
Four Luverne residents are seeking election to three open seats on the Luverne School Board. Each term is for four years. Heather Johnson is the sole challenger in the field with incumbents Ryan DeBates, Tim Jarchow and David Wrigg seeking re-election. Three candidates seek election to two open spots on Hills City Council
Three candidates are seeking election to two open seats on the Hills City Council in the Nov. 5 general elections. Both seats are four-year terms. Current council member Ross Metzger is not seeking re-election. Council member Alan Leenderts, who is filling the unexpired term of Stacen Burgers, is also not seeking election to the council.
